Total package of circa £36,215- £39,522 (approximately $57,159 – $62,426*) pro-rata per annum, including basic salary, per diem and hardship allowance.

MAG is seeking a Projects & Partnerships Manager in support of one of its largest and most complex programmes. You will take a dual role in supporting the Country Director in a challenging and varied role. In return you’ll be rewarded with the opportunity to contribute to the rehabilitation of communities devastated by conflict

You’ll have the opportunity to lead the national Partnerships Team, who have been working steadily to build the capacity of three Congolese NGO’s in Community Liaison. You will also be responsible for supporting designated regional projects and get involved in a wide range of tasks from proposal and budget development to external liaison and staff management.

You will need prior experience working with partners, particularly with experience in the financial consolidation of partner organisations accounts. You will also need experience working in project management roles, ideally within an international NGO in a post conflict/developing environment. However, you don’t need previous experience in mine action and we welcome applications from experienced candidates from any development sector.

The role will be based out of Kinshasa but you will travel regularly to MAG’s operational bases throughout DRC. Due to the location of this role, the successful candidate will need to be fluent in both French & English.

• Leave: We recognise our staff work hard and need the appropriate time out to stay motivated. You’ll have a minimum of 6 weeks leave per year, so 3 weeks leave for an initial 6 months contract

• Flights: MAG provides 3 international flights home per year, plus additional regional flights for Breather Breaks if your contract is extended
