Internal/External Job Advertisement 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Periodic reporting (daily, weekly and monthly)

  • Weekly fault management follow-up and ensure requested reports are accurate
  • Dashboard report update on daily basis
  • CAPS reports updated on daily basis
  • Daily 5 top operational issues
  • Commitment to Project & NPD requests
  • Inputs regarding weekly Report on Friday, 3.30pm at least
  • IN capacity report updated on Weekly Basis
  • IN Planned Job Report updated on Daily Basis
  • Daily health check report before 5.00pm, weekly and monthly report provided on time 

Billing Operations

Ensure that all tariffs are configured correctly and all prepaid transactions rated and charged accordingly

  • No errors in tariff configuration
  • No errors in the promotion start-up and close-up
  • No more than 5% estimated missed CDRs
  • Ensure zero error in the configuration made on each system
  • Make sure that faults and incident are managed as per policy and ensure to report accordingly
  • Roaming Tariff update (voice, sms, grps) on Monthly Basis
  • Implementation of new roaming networks
  • Execute JO from Billing Administration (deposit)
  • Month-end Topup and Bonus allocation
  • Alarm monitoring on GUI
  • Detection of fault, resolution, escalation and follow-up until final fix
  • System daily and periodic BackUp
  • Daily monitoring of various script running at OS level

Business Continuity & Service Availability 

Ensure that all incidents & problems are managed in a professional way:

  • Open Trouble Ticket for all faults detected but no fixed on the system
  • No more than major & critical incidents and/or problems without fixing more than two weeks
  • No known problems without fix for more than 3 months
  • Backup 100% managed : ensure that backup is successful and that backup tapes are secured in warehouse
  • BCP certificate accurate and given on time
  • Ensure as well that systems are always available and performs at highest rate (99.95%)
  • Ensure that all process are running properly, no outage 

Capacity & Finances

  • Ensure that  IN has always enough capacity to cater for all traffic
  • Ensure that IN has always enough storage capacity on database for account provisioning
  • Ensure that there is a clear capacity forecast for future growth
  • Ensure that the OPEX and CAPEX are correctly managed (no delay on payment process)

Team Building Management 

  • Ensure that other groups/teams receive a full support when the IN system is involved
  • Participate actively on transfer knowledge by writing/updating procedures kept in the G-Drive

Project & Product involvement 

  • Ensure that you deliver as per project & product spec on time and without errors
  • Ensure that all inputs of high quality for projects & NPD are given on time.
  • Provide technical support in project implementation on IN, VAS, NSS side.
  • Provide a support on product implementation on IN

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A university degree in Engineering, Mathematics or IT/ Telecoms Degree (BAC + 5)/ Diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years experiences in telecoms and 2 years’ experience inBilling environment.
  • Intelligent networks knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Database Oracle, OS UNIX environment is highly recommended
  • Knowledge on scripting is an advantage
  • ITL foundation basic knowledge
