Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction and supervision of the Supervisor of Chief of technical Unit, PID
, execute all IT network-related tasks (LAN and WAN). Duties include but are not limited to:
• Installation and administration of the Local area Network(LAN) and Wireless networks including :

(a) Installation of network hardware; installation of patch panels, fiber optic cables, UTP Cable infrastructure and other ancillaries requires for the proper operation of LAN.
(b) Installation and configuration of Cisco switches.
(c) Installation of Cisco Wireless equipment. Execute all communications-related projects assigned by the Supervisor.

• Troubleshoot and rectify network connectivity problems in a LAN environment of switches and wireless access points.
• Maintenance of hardware: computers, Printers, Digital Senders, Plotters, Switches, Access Points, etc and coordinate with the IT Manager for the smooth functioning of LAN infrastructure.
• Receive and log problem calls or service requests related to cabling infrastructure.

• Professionalism: hands-on technical training and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform with minimal supervision, and work under pressure, often in difficult and demanding conditions.
• Teamwork: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment.
• Communications: Good communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical staff at all levels, in a clear and concise style.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. EDUCATION: High School Diploma. Post secondary school education in computer science and knowledge in implementing and maintaining computer network systems desirable.
2. EXPERIENCE: At least four (4) years experience working with Information Technology systems.
3. LANGUAGE: Good knowledge of spoken English and French and the ability to comprehend well when the duties and technical tasks are assigned by the Supervisor.
4. Other Skills: valid driving license would be an advantage.
