Our Company, a leader in the international telecommunications industry, is in the process of recruiting a Project Finance Manager for their offices in DRC, GABON and CONGO BRAZZAVILLE.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (or similar qualification)
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role (Project Finances/Project Accounting)
- Competence in SAP a definite advantage
- Good knowledge of Financial systems & processes (preferably Ericsson\’s)
- Good understanding of Project Management processes
- Good understanding of Project Financials (Budgets, Commitments, Actuals, COS, RUC, WIP, etc)
- Ability to give comprehensive, value-added analysis on project financial movements (month to month and YTD)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Must be analytical, independent and result orientated
- High level of Integrity and Professionalism
- EXCELLENT communication skills
- Very good presentation skills
- Must be a team player
- High cultural awareness
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the Project Managers to build shareholder value and through an excellant understanding of the financials and the underlying drivers of the customer projects, by being proactive, business orientated, fact based and result driven while applying the Global PSP model
Main Tasks:
- Responsible for the Financials of a portfolio of projects according to global processes
- An active project participant involved in ensuring that project performance is correctly reflected in the varying systems (SAP, MORE, Site handler, etc)
- Participates in the definition and establishment of project structures in SAP, balancing management reporting, legal, efficiency and process requirements.
- Involved in operationally managing project planning, forecasting, profitability and inventory for a portfolio of projects (authorization remains with the respective PM)
- Support the Project Manager in understanding the performance of a portfolio of projects (including financial measures such as Net Sales, Cost of Sales, UM, CWIP, RUC, AR, etc)
- Address management reporting requirements/demands concerning project performance (i.e. Product Code/P-Code, Business Unit etc)
- Work closely with the Project Organization
- Execution of micro/operative Project related SOX controls
- Manage the project budget, supporting the CPM in the control of the project costs
- Ensure that Project ways-of-working are aligned to the Ericsson Business Processes and Expectations
